Service Scholars will understand how ecological principals are applied to wildlife, recreation and natural landscape management. Travel to Montana for exciting outdoor experiences through field science, outdoor adventure, and outdoor skill development.

6 days of adventure in the Big Sky Country Students will spend 7 days in Montana living on a 6,000 acre ranch along the Rocky Mountain Front and camping in the great Montana backcountry. We will travel to Glacier National Park and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Throughout our time here, we will work alongside wildlife biologists, land managers, paleontologists, and Blackfeet historians. Daily activities include hiking in the mountains and in Glacier National Park, citizen science studies, learning the tools of wildlife biologists and land managers, and service projects. Service projects are on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, in Glacier National Park or on one of the working ranches in the area.
